Glasgow Monthly Meeting

Join us for our monthly meeting in Glasgow. Our meetings can consist of an illustrated talk or practical sessions where you can learn aspects of orchid cultivation under the guidance of our resident experts who will also be happy to answer your queries on orchid cultivation and/or pest and disease control. We usually have a table show of members’ plants with plenty of opportunities to socialise and exchange ideas. For further information contact the organiser or send us a message via our CONTACT US page.   Feature this month: A Guided Repotting Session Now is an ideal time to repot your orchids as many of them will be showing signs of new growth. For advice on repotting them, bring them along to this meeting where you can repot them under the guidance from members of the Society. There will be a small charge to cover the cost of any orchid bark used (£1/litre for members, £2/litre for non-members) but you will have to bring your own pot if you want to change that at the same time but, remember orchids do not like to be over-potted. The bark that will be on sale is medium sized (8-15mm) and if you want to use any other size, please bring that with you. If you have any queries about this meeting, please contact the organiser.
