Glasgow Monthly Meeting

December Meeting: Christmas Quiz with Festive Fare!

Come along to our annual Christmas Quiz and enjoy some festive treats. This fun social gathering is a chance to mingle with fellow members in a relaxed setting, nibbling on mince pies and sipping either a glass of wine or the usual tea, coffee, or soft drinks, depending on your travel plans. The quiz is lighthearted, with questions on orchids and Christmas, and no specialist orchid knowledge is needed. Wearing your favourite Christmas jumper is highly encouraged

General Information

Our Glasgow meetings offer a friendly and relaxed space to learn more about orchids, whether you’re just starting out or have years of growing experience. Each session features either an illustrated talk or a practical demonstration led by our resident experts, who are always happy to answer questions on cultivation, pests, diseases, and general orchid care.

You’ll also find a table show of members’ plants — a great chance to see a variety of orchids, share ideas, and enjoy informal conversation with fellow enthusiasts. Refreshments are available throughout the afternoon.

Doors open at 1:30pm, and your first visit is free. If you’re curious about orchids or simply want to meet friendly growers, you’ll be very welcome.
