Glasgow Botanic Gardens Orchid Fair

Join us for the 2025 Glasgow Botanic Gardens Orchid Fair, held within the Grade A listed Kibble Palace considered by Monty Don to be the best glasshouse experience anywhere in the world. This popular event, now in its 26th year, remains the only dedicated Orchid Fair in Scotland and provides an ideal opportunity for you to come and not only admire displays of these exotic plants, but also to purchase a wide range of orchids from specialist UK nurseries. The Scottish Orchid Society has had a long association with the Gardens and assists with the running of this annual event. Entrance to the Orchid Fair is free and members of the Society will be on hand to offer advice on how to care for your orchids and answer any queries you might have.

In addition to the Scottish Orchid Society, there will also be displays by the North of England and Hinckley & District orchid societies. There will also be an educational display created by Dr. Helen Millner.

A wide variety of orchids and other tropical plants will be available from Burnham Nurseries, Spicesotic Plants, Orchid Botanics and Scotland Carnivorous Plants.

Experts will also be on hand to provide advice on how to take better photograph of the orchids.
